Treatment is progressing normally to this point. Tania sounded a little brighter on the phone last night. Mouth and throat ulcers are causing some distress to her, but this is expected due to her not having any white cells, the native bacteria in the stomach attacks the mucosa. So she’s in for an uncomfortable time ‘till her cell count comes back up.

My first day back at work after three months wasn’t too bad, mostly dealing with three months worth of e-mail. It’s still pretty quiet there with not everyone back from Christmas break.

I’ll be taking the kids to Sydney for the weekend, it’s a public holiday weekend, so we can stay an extra day and don’t have to come back till Monday.
